  • Learning Style – How do you learn best?, Your personality and learning style
  • Reading Comprehension – Reading to understand, paraphrasing, identifying signals in reading selections, learning new vocabulary
  • Communication - Understanding Teachers’ expectations, communicating with Teachers and Students
  • Note-Taking – Outlining, mind mapping, combo notes, abbreviations for Speed Writing, taking notes from lectures
  • Homework – Homework helpers
  • Stress Management – Keeping a positive attitude, staying relaxed under stress, handling test anxiety
  • Memorization – Using acronyms and acrostics, visualization, using association, linking information
  • Test-Taking - Taking essay tests, true false tests, fill-in tests, how to begin the essay, studying or midterms and final exams
