Math Facts Camp

Math Facts Camp Design 2012

$215 per camp - 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.

Prior to the first day of camp, children will be separated into addition/subtraction OR multiplication/division groups, and then subdivided by age/grade levels. ALL CHILDREN will be offered a chance to know all facts before the summer ends, come back, test, and collect a big prize from our prize room.

Your child's WEEK will be designed as follows:

Monday: Math Facts 0, 1, 2, 3, 4’s (5's and 6's flashcards go home)

Tuesday: Math Facts 5, 6 (7's and 8's flashcards go home)

Wednesday: Math Facts 7, 8 (9’s flashcards go home)

Thursday: Math Facts 9, Review and Receive BIG prize

Your child's DAY will be designed as follows:

Station 1: Math Baseball /Around the World

Station 2: Math Basketball/War

Station 3: Fly Facts/Math Bingo

Station 4: Math Jeopardy/Bowling to the Facts

Station 5: Computer Station/Math Games

o Each station is 45 minutes long with a 30 minute lunch.

o ALL stations will play games using only the math facts designated for that day.

o At the beginning of stations 1 - 4, a one-minute mad math facts sheet will be given. This is the only time during camp children will use paper and pen(cil).

o Prize incentives will be given for studying math facts at home, returning their daily flash cards, demonstrating sportsman like conduct, and using manners during camp time.

Bring Sack Lunch and a Drink Monday – Wednesday (Thursday is Pizza Party Day)
EXTENDED CAMP TIME is from 2:00 – 3:00 for the ROSETTA STONE SPANISH PROGRAM. There are only 8 spots available. The cost is $50 for the week.

The 9:00 spot will be available for you to book and will reserve your spot for the entire Math Facts Camp.
