About Us
After School Educational Facilitators, LLC was founded in 2001 by Margaret J. Qualls and Rita D. Qualls-Bruce. This is a family owned business, and we strongly believe in the promotion of education. We understand the educational competitiveness in today's society within all levels of education. It is our belief that children are individuals in every aspect of learning. It is this belief that birthed our company which is based on one-on-one tutoring for all children. Much of this tutoring is done within each child's current curriculum at his/her school. We truly feel fortunate and blessed to touch the lives of children within our community.
MARGARET J. QUALLS
Co-Founder And Business Director
Margaret is the mother of four children. She spent the first fourteen years as a homemaker before entering the work force. Her first job outside the home was a claims supervisor for an insurance firm downtown Houston. Her next fifteen years were spent at Arthur Andersen & Co. In 1998, she joined Boaz Export Crating as the Controller. She spent four years at Boaz before co-founding ASEF Tutoring. In addition to her professional experiences, she spent many years as a Children's Church Director/Teacher in an underprivileged area. Margaret is the Business Director and Co-Founder. She considers raising four children successfully and spending time with needy children her greatest accomplishment in life.
RITA D. QUALLS – BRUCE
Co-Founder And Educational Director
Rita graduated from Evangel University located in Springfield, Missouri in 1990 with a Bachelor’s of Science degree in English. She taught high school English and Gifted and Talented for four years. She also taught Language Arts to 6th graders for one year. She completed her Master’s Degree in Educational Administration in 1998 from Stephen F. Austin University. After home schooling her two children for a year and a half, they moved into the Tomball School District. Rita is married to Robert Bruce and their children, Ty and Marley, are currently attending Tomball Memorial High School. Rita is the Eductional Director and Co-Founder.
